The recording features Maestro Ivor Bolton leading the Dresden Festival Orchestra and Jan Vogler in Schumann’s 2nd Symphony and Cello Concerto. Capturing the original sound of Dresden’s Romantic movement on historical instruments, Jan used gut strings on his Stradivarius cello. The CD was recorded for SONY in studio during the 2016 Dresden Music Festival.
