Jan Vogler opens 2018 with the world premiere of Dai Fujikura’s Cello Concerto with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Manfred Honeck. The January 10 performance also features Debussy’s Six Épigraphes antiques and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A Major.
The German cellist has worked with Honeck in previous years, with the Pittsburgh Symphony and the DSO Berlin, and has commented on the “atmosphere of support and inspired collaboration” that he brings to the performance.
